| Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) Reporting | |||
|
Section 313 of SARA Title III requires certain facilities to submit a completed Form R for each toxic chemical that is used at the facility during the calendar year. This report must be submitted by July 1 of every year for the chemicals used during the previous calendar year. To obtain information about routine chemical releases into the environment, EPA uses Toxic Chemical Release Inventory Reporting. Facilities are required to report the quantity of chemicals released on-site as well as the amount of chemicals transferred off-site. This includes air emissions, wastewater discharges and releases to land. |
