Environmental Site Assessments
The Comprehensive Environmental Compensation, Response and Liability Act (CERCLA), also known as Superfund, established joint and several liability for clean-up of contaminated property. If property is found to be contaminated by previous owners, the current owner may still be liable for the cleanup costs. McKinzie can perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments to help clients demonstrate due diligence when conducting property transactions. All work is done in accordance with ASTM Standard E1527-05 and 40 CFR Part 312 (All Appropriate Inquiry).

Site Characterization
To meet the requirements of CERCLA and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), it may be necessary to provide reports of inspections of your site, develop assessments of preliminary concerns, evaluate removal and remediation sites and provide the results of remedial investigation and feasibility studies.

Underground Storage Tank Management/Closure
When removing or installing underground petroleum storage tanks, it is necessary to conduct and document tank closures, remedial investigations sampling, monitoring well installation and investigative and remedial work plans.
